Road Trip 09: Bedrock, Grand Canyon and Vegas November 12, 2009

Photobucket

The var was getting lonely with 3 homies gone, as we trekked it north toward the Grand Canyon.  We arrived at night during a new moon, and every star in the night sky seemed visible.  We stopped in Bedrock to hang out with the Flinstones, and then attempted to get lost on back roads and paths to acquire a good car camping spot.  We somehow ended up driving through some brush fires and camped on a big rock hill in the middle of nowhere.  The next day we went hiking into the canyon and looked at millions of rocks basically.  At sunset we realized we could make it to Vegas just before midnight, and decided it was the best place to spend our Saturday night.
