Driving through the night, we got into Lawrence Kansas at sunrise. It’s always refreshing to come back to my old home and catch up with everybody. Tien got to meet up with his new sponsors, and we put the finishing touches on Robs interview. We were supposed to continue west and go to Denver, but decided to take a sharp detour south. The annual Hoedown contest was going on in Dallas, so we turned off our Alaska route and started a new journey.
